DHP Workshop May 2025 NYC

Day 1 of the Digital Health Partnership Workshop at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC explored the essential role of data in shaping the future of healthcare – from foundational research to real-world care delivery.

The day opened with powerful reflections from Dr. Girish Nadkarni and Prof. Dr. Lothar H. Wieler, followed by a keynote lecture from Dr. Ben Glicksberg that set the stage for a full day of thought-provoking sessions on how diverse datasets are transforming the landscape of digital health.

Throughout the day, expert-led sessions covered a wide range of critical datasets, including critical resources such as MDSW, Mount Sinai Million, IRW, DDP & Sensorhub, Pathology, Data Ark, AIR.MS, and Computing: Minerva and Cloud.

A sincere thank you to all speakers – Dr. Andrew Deonarine, Dr. Lea Davis, Dr. Zahi Fayad, Dean Patricia Kovatch, Dr. Matteo Danieletto, Dr. Gabriele Campanella, Dr. Yiyuan Liu, and Dr. Lili Gai – for sharing your expertise and providing insight into the depth and potential of data available for collaboration and discovery.

Day 1 underscored the foundational role of high-quality and well-integrated data, not only as a technical asset, but as a catalyst for better health outcomes. Grounded in collaboration, we look forward to the breakthroughs, progress, and meaningful outcomes this data will help bring to life.
